The Mt Anne Massif with the ever-surprising Olympus m.ZD 40-150 MSC - this lens is simply a delight!
Panasonic GH2.
in the dark
Thoughts and images from the world of Micro Four Thirds. I'm an amateur photographer from Tasmania, with a keen interest in travel, landscape and street photography. Among other things I'll be writing about my recent transition from the Olympus E-system to a full mirrorless kit, based around the Panasonic GH2.

temptation
Well, in other news I've finally given in to temptation and ordered a Fujifilm X100 with the LH-X100 lenshood, Gordy's leather wrist strap and a couple of eBay batteries. The X100 should arrive early next week, but the lens hood is backordered so not sure when I'll get that...
Anyway, watch this space for thoughts and images from the little Fuji!
Here's a shot of more or less the set-up I've ordered.

It's Tasmania mate...
The Western Arthur Range in Tasmania's Southwest National Park, doing their best impression of the New Zealand Alps...
GH2 and Voigtlander Nokton 25mm @ f5.6 I think, and iso640 (no tripod...). The Nokton's centre sharpness at anything over f2 is simply stunning!

A day at the beach

Fly like the wind...
There's nothing like skating in Finland for the first time to put you in your place... There were 8 year olds who skated better than I walk.
EP1 and 14-42 MkI - this was the first time I used Micro Four Thirds extensively.
